Oops! Britney drives over paparazzo's foot
By: Reuters

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Britney Spears is having a bad week. A day after she lost visitation rights to her two young sons, the pop star drove over the foot of a paparazzo on Thursday night while trying to navigate past the hordes of photographers who document her every move.

Spears was exiting a Beverly Hills parking garage in her white Mercedes convertible as flash bulbs popped. Video footage showed an unidentified photographer in a flak jacket falling to the ground as the car apparently rolled over his foot but he quickly got up.

Spears appeared to start crying, according to photographers on the scene, but drove off as they ran after her.

A day earlier, a judge suspended Spears' visitation rights with her two sons until she complies with all court orders. Spears, who has been involved in a lengthy custody battle with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, has been ordered to get coaching on parenting skills because of evidence showing she was a frequent user of "controlled substances and alcohol."

Spears might want to consider hiring a chauffeur. She is already facing two misdemeanor charges after her car scuffed another car in a parking lot two months ago, again under the gaze of the paparazzi. She turned herself in at a Los Angeles police station on Monday to be photographed and fingerprinted ahead of her scheduled October 25 arraignment.

Spears endured another setback on Thursday. Her new single "Gimme More" fell three places to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It's drawn from her album "Blackout," which comes out in the United States on October 30, and a day earlier internationally.
