is Classic Consignment? Classic Consignment re-sells
gently-used good clothes at a fraction of the original cost. Our
inventory comes from the best closets in Middle Georgia... most have
only been worn once of twice . . . many have never been worn at all!
What
will I find at Classic Consignment? We carry women's' career,
casual and formal attire for any occasion, including bridal wear, as
well as shoes, accessories and fashion jewelry -- all at a fraction
of their original price! Whether it's for your professional image,
for everyday wear, a wedding or other formal occasion, you can find
it at Classic Consignment.
We
also carry a great selection of children's wear and accessories —
including highchairs, carryalls, and other baby items.
What
about accessories? We've got a great selection of accessories
for all occasions: consigned and new jewelry, handbags, belts and
scarves.
Here's how
to become a valued consignor
Select
your IN-season clothes. Make sure everything is freshly cleaned and
pressed. Hanging will keep it neat. You may fold sweaters and
shorts. Everything else must be on hangers. The better it looks, the
more you'll make!
 Clothes
sell only IN-STYLE. Items you have purchased in the last two or
three years will sell best.
Make
an appointment for your first time, so we can set aside time just
for you. Later, our "DROP & RUN" system will save you
time and effort.

 Classic
Consignment sets the selling price. When an item sells, you receive
40% of the selling price. Classic Consignment offers items for sale
60-90 days, depending on the season. We base prices on supply and
demand, and based on the condition of the item.
We
will get the best prices for you. We reserve the right to mark down
items when needed. To keep our inventory moving, items are reduced
20% in 3 weeks and an additional 20% in 6 weeks.
For
any formal wear, wedding gowns or fur coats, the consignor receives
50% of the selling price. Ask about our policy for consigning these
items.
Any
unsold items are donated to charity. This is a tax deduction for
you, not the store.
We
promise to be careful with your items, but all items are left at
your own risk. Any loss or damage will not be compensated.
Drop &
Go
 Our
'Drop & Go' service makes it easy to consign with Classic
Consignment. After your first appointment, you may use this service
anytime we are open. Just properly label your drop with your name,
address, whether you want us to save or donate any unacceptable
items, and Classic Consignment account number, and you are all set!
We'll
process your drop and enter your items in to your account. Your
items will be placed on the sales floor, ready for sale.
Unacceptable
items will be donated to charity, or you can pick them up the next
day or two (we have limited storage space, so please pick them up in
a timely manner; clothes not picked up within 3 days will be donated
to charity).
Also,
please be sure you feel comfortable in our determination of an
item's saleability. If you feel you might disagree with our
judgment, you might not want to use our Drop & Go service.
